The Fulton Parks and Recreation Department is planning a new event for the year; the Great Pumpkin Race.
The Missouri Public Service Commission approved the addition of a new area code for the central Missouri area. The area will now have both 573 and 235 area codes.
It is hard to believe summer is already wrapping up, and fall is just around the corner. While it’s gone by quickly, the City of Fulton and our staff have been hard at work.
The deadline to register a team is September 29 for $380, and the event is limited to 32 teams. The event will be held Friday, October 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Tanglewood Golf Course.
Fulton Solid Waste has recycling carts available for those interested in joining the program.
Fulton’s annual roadway maintenance projects will begin in August and September. Crews will overlay six streets, lay a chip sealing layer on nine roads, and micro surface a section of Business 54.
The City of Fulton is one of 20 finalists for the 2023 All-America City Award recognizing communities that leverage civic engagement, collaboration, inclusiveness and innovation to successfully address local issues. Legends Rec-Plex opened in June 2021 with a two-week free period for the community. The facility, a 45,000-square-foot multipurpose facility, features a variety of rooms and has the ability to host numerous activities and events. It includes a banquet hall the community can rent for special occasions, courses, and conferences.
Communities across the United States faced a serious question: What can we do to help? The residents of Fulton stepped up.
