12th Annual Mayor’s Cup set for October

The 12th Annual Mayor’s Cup Golf Challenge in October will benefit Open Table.
The deadline to register a team is September 29 for $380, and the event is limited to 28 teams. The event will be held Friday, October 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Tanglewood Golf Course.
Open Table started in March and is dedicated to providing nourishing meals and a place for fellowship to all people in the community. They serve dinner Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the John C. Harris Community Center from 5-6 p.m. Meals are prepared with the assistance of congregations and groups around the county.
“They’ve highlighted a need in our community,” Mayor Steve Myers said. “Their board and volunteers work very hard to address hunger in Fulton and the greater Callaway County community, and we’re honored to support their efforts.”
Sponsorship opportunities for the Mayor’s Cup are also available. Sponsorship of an individual hole is $100 with a tee box at the hole; silver level sponsorship includes one team entry and a tee box for $500, and gold level sponsorship includes two team entries and two tee boxes.
