The City of Fulton Finance Department is responsible for the administration of the city’s financial services. Its mission is to provide these services to our employees, management, and the citizens in a professional and timely manner.
The 2023 budget was approved by the Fulton City Council in December 2022. It lays out the City’s operational and capital improvement budget for the year. The City uses the budget throughout the year to track revenues and expenditures.
The 2021 audit was approved by the Fulton City Council in June 2022. It lays out the City’s financial status, reporting, and profile.
The City of Fulton Purchasing Department strives to buy the best quality products for the lowest possible cost to the city. The division maintains an inventory of supplies, fills the needs of each department, and provides research for potential purchases. We are responsible for setting standards and specifications for items to be purchased, advertising and tabulation of bids, assisting departments in obtaining contracts for services, preparation and issuance of purchase orders, materials management, and supervising the transfer or disposal of all surplus materials, supplies, and equipment.
