Apprentice Lineman/Power Plant Operator
The City of Fulton is accepting resumes/applications for Apprentice Lineman/ Apprentice Power Plant Operator in the Utilities – Electric Department. This full-time position allows the chosen candidate to assist the linemen in the process of building and maintaining the electrical power grid within the City. The candidate will also assist with monitoring and maintaining plant operations and assists in the repair of power plant and fabrication of special projects. The employee will complete a 4 year apprenticeship, City provided through MPUA. Salary: $21.50/hr. Position open until filled.
Apprentice Pipefitter
This full-time position trains under the guidance of a pipefitter and/or supervisor to provide skilled labor in the construction and maintenance of gas distribution systems within the City. Assists in pipefitting project activities; actively participate in learning all levels of regulations and rules associated with gas distribution systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience operating a variety of machinery/equipment, have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL w/in 6 months of hire, and handle 100 lb. objects. Automotive Mechanic
This full-time position will assist with the optimal running order of all vehicles and equipment. Additional duties include the proper operation, maintenance, and safety of all equipment in the shop. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with repairs, inventory, inspections, and vehicle alterations. High school diploma or G.E.D required as well as ability to obtain CDL (Class B) and a valid Missouri driver’s license. 2 years’ experience or technical training required. Cart Attendant-Tanglewood
Tanglewood Golf Course is seeking applicants for Cart Attendant. This seasonal, part time position will assist in general maintenance of the facility & the handling of golf carts. Must be able to work morning shifts 6:00 am – 7:30 am and/or evening shifts 4:00 pm – Close. Some weekend work will be required. Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. Clubhouse Attendant-Tanglewood
Tanglewood Golf Course is seeking applicants for Clubhouse Attendant. This seasonal, part time position will assist in with daily golf sales, food & beverage sales, food preparation and general customer service. Event Supervisor
Event Supervisors are responsible for assisting with the administration of a variety of Parks & Recreation youth and adult athletic events. Duties include, but are not limited to: Event organization, set-up, supervision and evaluation, scorekeeping, and evaluation of game officials. Knowledge of a variety of sports and a strong desire to work in a challenging and fun environment is required. You must be willing and able to work nights and weekends as required. Must be at least 16 years of age, with a valid MO drivers’ license and reliable transportation. Hours will vary depending on the activity. Engineering Technician/Project Engineer
The City of Fulton is accepting resumes/applications for a full-time experienced Engineering Technician or Project Engineer to join the Engineering Department. Duties include: surveying, planning, and managing capital improvement projects. Projects are varied and include street, storm, and utility improvements. Candidates should be able to problem solve construction issues and be comfortable working with developers, contractors, engineers, and state agencies. Other duties include private development plan review, utility mapping, and assisting the Planning Department with permitting, building inspections, and code enforcement. Sound independent judgment and initiative are essential. Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management experience preferred along with competency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word. Fitness Instructors – Legends Rec-Plex
Positions of interest but are not limited to; spin instructor, body combat, crossfit, martial arts, tai chi, HIT, boot camp, body attack, pilates, senior fitness, circuit training, personal training, etc. Ideal candidate will be highly energetic, possess a positive attitude, charismatic, organized, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Experience in the fitness industry and general knowledge of fitness is required; preferred nationally accredited group fitness certification. Instructor is expected to carry out assigned duties independently within the framework of established departmental policies and under the general supervision of the Facility Manager. This position will instruct classes offered between the hours of 5:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and Sat/Sun 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Position(s) will remain open until filled.

This full time position reads electric, gas and water meters and performs minor meter maintenance. Must have HS/GED, a valid Missouri driver’s license, ability to routinely handle 80 lbs. and the endurance to walk for long periods of time. $15.00/hour; going to $15.75/hour after successful completion of 6 month probation. Payroll Clerk
The City of Fulton is now accepting applications for the position of Payroll Clerk. This position is responsible for the processing the City’s bi-weekly payroll (approximately 180 employees – 275 employees during summer months), balancing withholdings, preparing payroll reports and issuing checks. Also processes employee benefits and prepares tax withholding calculations and reconciliations. These duties will be under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer. Minimum requirements include: highschool diploma or GED; two years’ experience in payroll, preferably in a public or nonprofit agency utilizing fund accounting; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and working knowledge of computer applications. The pay range for this position is $20.27/hr. to $25.19/hr. DOE with a 5% increase after successful completion of the six-month probationary period.
