The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide the citizens of the City of Fulton with design, construction, and maintenance of our infrastructure, incorporate good design practices in the development of our community, and to inspect the work performed by our City employees, developers, and independent contractors including the inspection of water and sanitary sewer service connections. It is also the department’s responsibility to maintain our public infrastructure, provide maintenance services to all city department vehicles and equipment, oversee the administration, management, operations, and maintenance of the municipal airport and public parking lots, and provide our citizens with a better quality of life.
