City of Fulton Initiates Search for Permanent Director of Administration
Fulton, MO– The City of Fulton has announced the search for a permanent Director of Administration. Recognizing the pivotal role this position plays in the effective functioning of local government and the delivery of essential services to the community, Mayor Steve Myers emphasized the importance of finding a candidate with a combination of strategic vision, administrative expertise, and a deep commitment to public service.
“The permanent Director of Administration will be a key leader, working collaboratively with various departments, elected officials, and community stakeholders to address the challenges and opportunities facing Fulton,” said Mayor Myers. “The selection process is designed to be thorough and transparent, with a focus on identifying a candidate who not only possesses the necessary qualifications and experience but also shares the city’s values and dedication to community well-being.”
To facilitate the search, Mayor Myers has established a special hiring committee that will review applications. Applications for the Director of Administration position are now open and will be accepted until December 1st, 2023. The committee will carefully evaluate each application to ensure a fair and comprehensive selection process.
Mayor Myers expressed confidence in the collaborative effort, stating, “I am confident that, together, we will find a permanent Director of Administration who will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of Fulton.”
Courtney Doyle was appointed Interim Director of Administration for the City of Fulton on July 7th, 2023 by the City Council.
