Staff Spotlight: Lineman Nahome Retta

Lineman Nahome Retta enjoys serving the city and being able to help those in need. As a lineman, he responds to power outages, installs new line in newly developed subdivisions, and maintains and upgrades the line. He will also help other utility divisions when they require a boom truck or meter reading.

Annual levy rate sees no change

The City of Fulton property tax levy rate will not change for 2023 at $0.5271 per $100 of assessed valuation. City Council members approved the rate after a public hearing on August 22.

Overlay project to start in September

Fulton’s annual roadway maintenance projects will begin in August and September. Crews will overlay six streets, lay a chip sealing layer on nine roads, and micro surface a section of Business 54.
