As long as the weather cooperates, resurfacing on Business 54 is expected to begin on Wednesday, October 18th. Traffic on Business 54 from just south of Route Z to the 2nd Street roundabout will be greatly affected. Unless weather or equipment issues intervene, the job is planned to take two days (Wednesday and Thursday). Every day, traffic will be detoured from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Following the completion of the new surface, paint striping work will be undertaken the following week(s).
