Mayor

“I decided to run for mayor as I love this community and want to help set the direction for its growth in the years to come. I have been involved with the city for many years and want to continue that service for the people. Fulton is a great place to raise a family and I want it to continue to be a great place to live and work.”

John Braun

“As your mayor I will be sworn to uphold the Fulton Charter, State, and US constitution. My focus when elected will be to establish a City Master Plan. (The last City Master plan was done over 20 years ago.) Our City needs to show potential industries, businesses, and residents that we are focused on improving what we have to offer. I will strive to increase cooperation and encourage feedback with our school district, first responders, city employees, residents, and county officials. A vote for me is a vote to foster and plan for the future.”

Steve Myers

“My name is Steve Myers and I am running to be your mayor. I worked for the City of Fulton almost 25 years and was Police Chief for 20. I know the function of city government and how it should work for the people. These are some of the issues I would address:
Maintain the city’s work force which is our biggest asset.
Work to make the new Recreation Center more profitable.
Work with community leaders and the Chamber of Commerce to attract new businesses with good paying jobs and work with developers and contractors to build affordable housing.”

Jeff Stone

“I am honored to serve on the Fulton City Council for the past six years. And while I am running unopposed for another 2-year term for Ward 2, I do not take the election for granted. I appreciate every vote that I receive on the ballot as an affirmation of support from my neighbors. I am proud to be born and raised in Fulton and chose to raise my family here and serve the community. I will continue to put my full effort into all issues that come before the Council and seek input from my constituents and all Fulton citizens. Thank you all for the opportunity to continue to serve Fulton.”

Ward 3

Alan Combs

“After my first term on City Council, I understand the importance of being a city councilman.
We look at challenges and find solutions that benefit our community.
As a member of the city council, I get to be the voice of the citizens of Fulton. It is vital that people feel heard and look toward the future together. I want citizens to feel like they have someone that listens to their needs.
During my second term, I will continue to learn, challenge the status quo, and strive for growth. I would love to hear from you.”
