New City Cleanup Sure To Be A “Scream”

The Fulton Stream Team will be hosting the first ever Scream Clean cleanup on Sunday, October 30.  It will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. along Stinson Creek and the Stinson Creek Trail, between Seaman Park and Memorial Park.  Groups and individuals can pick up trash and debris either in the creek or along the trail.  Candy stations will be set up where kids dressed up in their Halloween costume can exchange trash for candy.  Questions can also be answered to receive candy.  There will be a Scholastic book giveaway as well as a drawing where participants can win free pizza from Pizza Hut.

Registration is required for the event and can be done online at fultonmo.org/scream-clean or in-person at Fulton City Hall.  The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 26, 2016.  Participants seeking more information can contact the City of Fulton Engineering Department at 573-592-3111.
