Youth Athletic Programs

The City of Fulton Parks and Recreation Department offers several sports leagues for youths. All registration forms must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department office by the stated deadline.

Baseball/Softball

The Fulton Parks and Recreation Youth Baseball/Softball League is open to kids ages 5-15 with an age control date of August 1 of the current year. Practice begins in May and games will be played in June and July. Players will be placed on teams based on a team draft. All leagues are designed to be recreational in nature with the emphasis being on learning the skills of the game, good sportsmanship and having a good time. Players will receive a team jersey & hat. Pre-registration is required.

Bowling

Fulton Parks and Recreation and the Fulton Bowling Center are teaming up to offer kids an opportunity to learn and play the lifetime sport of bowling. Instructors will teach the rules and fundamentals of the game and demonstrate proper bowling technique.

Cheerleading

This program is open to both boys & girls in grades 1-6. Participants will be required to attend a two hour clinic where they will learn basic cheers, chants, and some fun dance moves. Cheerleaders will then cheer at a youth flag football game on the final practice night.

Flag Football

Parks & Recreation offers Flag Football as a recreational, non-contact sport designed to teach both boys and girls in grades 1 through 6 the fundamentals of the game of football. Teams will play 1 game per week and will finish the season with a post-season championship tournament. Flags, footballs and team t-shirts will be provided. Plastic cleats and a mouthpiece are recommended. Games will be played at Morgan Soccer Park. Pre-registration is required.

Kickball

Looking for a Spring activity for your kids? The Youth Kickball League will get your kids outdoors for a competitive, but friendly game that is great for all skill levels. League is open to kids in grades 1st – 8th.

Soccer

The Parks & Recreation Youth Soccer program is open to kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for the recreational soccer player to sharpen skills, and broaden his/her knowledge of soccer with an emphasis on fun, learning and good sportsmanship. Games are played twice a week in the Fall season at Morgan Soccer Complex. Team jerseys will be provided. Plastic cleats and shin guards are strongly recommended. Pre-registration is required.

Wrestling

Going strong since 1981, the Fulton Wrestling Club is one of Fulton’s oldest and most popular youth sports program, the Club is open to boys and girls age 6 – 14. Participants will practice 2-3 times per week and have the opportunity to participate in competitive tournaments on the weekends. There is additional cost for tournament entry, but wrestlers can compete in as many or as few tournaments as they would like. Season begins in November and concludes in early March with the District, Regional and State Wrestling tournaments.
