Adult Nighttime Easter Egg Hunt

Hunting Easter eggs is not just for kids!  Join us at Morgan Soccer Park to search for the “glowing” Easter eggs.  Many eggs will contain great prizes donated by local merchants.   Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Alan Leake Memorial Kids Fishing Tournament

This 7th Annual Kids Fishing Tournament is dedicated to the memory of Fulton Fire Fighter, Alan Leake. Bring your kids out for a great day of fishing, skills competitions, and FUN! Open to children ages 4 to 17.

Ashley Garrett Memorial Children’s Art Festival

This year the Blues n’ Ques and Baby Contest is joining with the Ashley Garrett Memorial Children’s Art Festival to offer a day of festivities and fun for the whole family. The Ashley Garrett Memorial Children’s Art Festival is organized by Auxvasse Creative Arts Program. This event allows kids to enjoy free arts and crafts activities, face painting, and many other exciting activities all while enjoying the fresh smell of barbecue and listening to great blues music. The first 100 kids will receive a free backpack and a ticket for a hot dog and chips.

Big Bubble Blowout

Join us at the City Hall Fountain for the 4th Annual Big Bubble Blowout. Adults and Children will be allowed to play and splash in the giant bubbles! The event is free to the public and there will be hot dogs, popcorn and drinks served.

Baby Blues Baby Contest

This year’s Baby Blues Baby contest will be held in conjunction with the Blues n’ Ques Barbecue Festival, the 7th annual baby contest is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.  Check out some of the cutest babies and toddlers in Callaway County.  Entries for the Baby Blues Baby Contest must pre-registered.

Age Divisions: 0-11 months, 1 year, 2 year, 3 year  *Age as of event date.

Bluebird Championship Disc Golf Tournament

Sponsored by the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association, the tournament series makes a stop in Veteran’s Park.  The tournament will be open to amateurs and professionals.  Participants can pay for all required fees on the day of the event or pay the buy-in fee on-line at www.mopark.org.  Contact Parks & Rec. to obtain the official entry form.

Blues n’ Ques Barbeque Contest

Summer may be over, but it is not too late to fire up the grill one last time.  Is your barbecue the best in town?   Prove it at this year’s barbecue contest. Judging will begin at 12:30 pm at the Atkinson Shelter.  Cooks must check in by 10:30 am.  Contestants will be judged in 5 categories:  Pork, Poultry, Beef,    Specialty and Top Chef.  Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category.

Callaway Classic Horseshoe Pitching Tournament

A great game for all ages and skill levels.  The 6th Annual Fulton Fall  Classic Horseshoe Pitching Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 9th.  This tournament will be open to all ages.  Players will be divided based on skill level.  Awards will be given to the top three players in each division.   The doubles tournament will be limited to twelve,  2-person teams.

Fulton Pride Day

Families, businesses, clubs, churches, & individuals are invited to participate in a city-wide clean-up event. This is a fun, family-friendly event with lunch, drinks and a FREE Pride Day T-Shirt for all
pre-registered participants.

Fulton Triathlon

Sponsored by Fulton Parks & Recreation  and Atlas Physical Therapy:

A swim/bike/run event for the beginning/intermediate athlete age 13 & older consisting of a 200 meter swim (8 lengths of the pool), a 10K road bike, and a 2 mile cross country run.  Also includes a relay  competition for 2 or 3-person teams.  Overall, age-group, and team awards plus t-shirts and  refreshments for all participants.  Registration forms, including race day schedule and fees, available beginning TBA.  Field is limited. Additional information available at the Fulton Triathlon website.

Pumpkins in the Park

Put your artistic talents on display and donate a carved pumpkin to the 1st Annual Pumpkin Trail.  This event will take place at the covered bridge on Stinson Creek trail on Friday, October 28th.  All carved pumpkins that are donated will be lit  Friday evening and be on display  throughout  the  weekend  of  Halloween.  Pumpkins will be awarded prizes for the categories of Scariest, Most Original, and Biggest Pumpkin.

Summer Cinema Series

The Summer Cinema Series is back with 3 different movies to be shown in June, July, and August. All movies are rated G or PG. Seating is available in the Amphitheatre or you can bring a lawn chair or blanket. To find out what movie will be playing contact the Parks & Recreation office.

Tails on the Trail Run/Walk

Fulton Parks and Recreation is excited to offer our Tails on the Trail event for it’s 3rd year  starting at our new city dog park.  This run/walk is open to all ages and will take place on    Fulton’s beautiful Stinson Creek Walking Trail.  All participants will be required to run/walk with their own dog.  The first 50 entries will receive a free t-shirt and prizes will be awarded.

Turkey Trot 5K Run

Fulton’s 7th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk is open to all ages and will take place on  Fulton’s beautiful Stinson Creek Walking Trail.  The first 100 entries will receive a free t-shirt.  Winners in each age group will receive a free Thanksgiving turkey and award medal.
