Youth Golf Camp

With a maximum of 12 students per session and an instructor/student ratio of 1:6, our youth golf camp will ensure plenty of individualized instruction time. Geared for the beginner to the advanced golfer (ages 7-17), the camp will cover improving the golf swing and will stress golf etiquette and the rules of the game.

Youth Soccer Camp

This British Soccer Camp will focus on teaching soccer fundamentals along with the framework of character development based on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship.  Children ages three to 18 will be divided into age groups to focus on the skills that suit each age level.

Classes

AARP Safe Driving Class

The nation’s first & largest classroom refresher for motorists age 50 & older.  Learn how to avoid driving hazards and possibly get discounts on your auto insurance.

Aquacise Water Aerobics Class

A relaxing and refreshing way to get into shape.  Exercises are designed to improve flexibility, tone body muscles, and improve the cardiovascular system.  Each individual will be able to work at his or her own pace.

Fulton Swim Lessons

New this summer the Parks and Recreation is offering Fulton Swimming Lessons for ages 3 and up. Classes will be divided by ages and ability and will be conducted in two week sessions running Monday through Thursday starting July 9th and ending August 2nd. Most classes will be provided with a ratio of one teacher to every three students and the classes will teach from the basic water skills to stroke refinement based on class level. Make sure to review the class description to determine what level your child needs to sign-up in. Class size is limited so sign-up today!

Swing Dance Class

You will be learning East Coast swing or, as it’s sometimes called, “jitterbug.” This is the swing that everyone does at weddings, reunions, bars and parties. You’ll learn a variety of moves and snappy combinations. By the end of the class you’ll be able to swing dance to almost all rock and roll, country and big band swing songs.

Beginning Cake Decorating Class

This is a great starter class to teach participants various cake making, icing varieties, decorating techniques, and much more.  This class is open to any aspiring cake decorator 8 years of age and older.

Advanced Cake Decorating Class

Do you have experience in cake decorating but would like the skills to take it to the next level?  Then join the Advanced Cake decorating class to learn special techniques for sculpting various icings, learn how to build and create different  cakes.

Digital Photography Class

This course provides an introduction to the fascinating technology that is catapulting the photographic world into the 21st century. We’ll discuss the basics of digital photography, equipment, software, printing, Internet and e-mail use, along with commercial & personal applications.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts, combat sport, and self defense system that focuses on grappling and ground work. It is an ideal art for self defense, self-confidence, and fitness.

Memory Quilt Class

Preserve great memories in the form of a quilt made out of your special t-shirts, sweatshirts and jerseys.  This quilt would be a great gift for someone special.  Instructor Karen Luther will teach students the techniques to preserve those special memories for a   lifetime.

Clinics

Youth Soccer Clinic

Playing soccer this Fall?  This clinic is a great warm-up to the soccer season.  Participants will receive instruction on the skills of the game from coaches and players from the William Woods Men’s Soccer team. Kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade can participate.
