Whether it’s in front of a house, a business or in a parking lot, landscaping can truly improve the look of an area. With that in mind, the City has developed a landscaping program citizens can participate in to help beautify City-owned parking lots.
There are four City parking lots where space is available to be adopted – Fulton City Hall, Market Street lot, 500 Nichols Street lot and the Sky-Go lot adjacent to the Callaway County Public Library. All of these parking lots are located within the downtown Brick District.
If you or your group is interested in participating in the City’s Parking Lot Landscaping program, contact the City of Fulton Engineering Department at 573-592-3160.
Mulch will be provided by the City, at no charge to the designated area. Also, a gift card to a local home improvement store will be provided that can be used to purchase plants and other items that will enhance the adopted location.
