City to Host Inaugural Pumpkins in the Park
The City of Fulton Parks and Recreation Department will be holding the inaugural Pumpkins in the Park from Friday, October 28 through Monday, October 31. During the three-day event, pumpkins will be lined along the Stinson Creek Trail, near the Covered Bridge in Memorial Park. Participants can drop off their Jack-O’-Lantern between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, October 28 at the Memorial Park Parking Lot located at the intersection West 2nd Street and Nichols Street. The lighting ceremony will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Awards will be given to the best pumpkin in three categories – scariest, biggest, and most original. Winners will be contacted by phone no later than Tuesday, November 1 at noon. Also, participants wishing to keep their pumpkin must claim it no later than Tuesday, November 1 at noon.
