City Receives Grant To Demolish Building

The City of Fulton has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant by the Missouri Department of Economic Development for $250,000. This grant will be used to demolish the former International Shoe Company building located at 820 State Street. In recent years the building has been leased to Production Products, but the structure is no longer viable. The remaining cost for demolition will be paid for by the city. Once the building has been torn down, the area will be backfilled, graded and seeded.  It will then become additional space for Veterans Park.
